Born in a manger to a carpenter...
I cant help but to think about how Mary didn't have Jesus in the Hilton or a huge 7 bedroom home, three car garage, but the Manger. Jesus was born to a carpenter..not some rich man..they traveled far with 1 donkey..not a Cadillac..I am sure mary didn't have 30 pairs of shoes in her closet. Jesus didn't have a huge crib, but slept where animals feed. I hear people say all the time we are Christians we deserve this...really 'cause I thought mary would have first...I don't know.. who am I..
I know I have made this comment before, but it's laid on my heart heavy..

2 THINGS I LEARNED AT EWOMENS CONFERENCE 09
1. NEVER PUT A PERIOD WHERE GOD HAS A CAMA.
2. I LOVE GOD FOR WHO HE IS, AND NOT HOW HE MAKES ME FEEL.
2. I LOVE GOD FOR WHO HE IS, AND NOT HOW HE MAKES ME FEEL.

Jesus 2nd coming
If you were at the Bar drunk, and Jesus came for his second coming; would you go with him in the air to Heaven drunk? What ever you are doing at this moment would it get you into Heaven?

The exchange in envelopes
For a couple of months now every Sunday a new and dear friend of mine rides to church with us.
I know she has been seeking a way to show her appreciation
expressed by her never ending thank yous!
Well, Sunday she hands me a beautiful envelope decorated
with lots of color from an assortment stickers.
She expressed to open it after she was gone.
During service I had this thought to give her $20.00. ( It was God telling me)
I leaned over to my husband to whisper in his ear that I was to give her $20.00 "Okay." He says.
I stuck it in an offering envelope and wrote "God told me to give this to you. please keep it." After church, while walking to the parking lot I handed her the envelope. Bonnie opened it and said "Darcy did you open my envelope already?" I hadn't, You see when I opened the envelope from Bonnie there was also $20.00 in there. I believe Bonnie had been praying to bless us for all the rides to church, that God said okay. Then in return gave it right back to her knowing she really needed it.
we laughed and laughed on how funny God really is.

Jesus never pointed fingers.
Why should we?
John 8:4-11
In this particular scripture some teachers of the law and Pharisees brought a woman caught in adultery, wanting to stone her according to the law of Moses they asked Jesus what he would say to do. He replied "If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her."
John 8 v.11. "no one, sir," she said.
"Then neither do I condemn you," Jesus declared. "Go now and leave your life of sin."
You see Jesus knew she was already aware of her own sin. He didn't need to tell her. He said "Go now and leave your life of sin"
Luke 7:37-39
In this scripture just being in the presence of the Lord brought this woman to weeping tears that poured on his feet, then to wash them with alabaster jar of perfume.
Again Jesus didn't point out the women's sin.
However I am not saying its okay that people sin, or to let them think its okay, or to even laugh at their mischief , but our main focus should not be to point out their sins, but to point out Jesus. Let the love for him change them, and to remember only he can change their hearts.
Jesus never pointed fingers in fact he just loved everyone, and told the stories of our Father, For those who would come to listen. It was the love, and respect for Jesus that drew people to repent and change their hearts, and ways from their sinful nature. I believe the more we become one with the spirit of God and grow to love him. We our selves Begin to change our ways to a less sinful nature.
I pray at night "Dear Father please forgive me for my sins that I have done, If I have done anything else to you that was not pleasing, show me so I may change my ways and become more like you." Never has he pointed his finger at me to say "you sin here, here, and here." No, In a loving manor he will slowly show me where I have been wrong. Then out of love for him I don't want to continue to make the same mistakes. He gives me the option to change. I believe we should do the same with others. Introduce them to Jesus, Let the love that builds between them change their hearts. Our condemning words will never change them. It could even cause an offence, where their ears become closed.
I pray that my words always be of him and not of me, Amen.

'Love your neighbor as yourself'
Some times I find myself repeating the same old mistakes. Driving down the highway upset because the car in front of me is going 5 under the speed limit instead of 5 over. The woman at the grocery store has 7 items, but pays with a check that has to be pre-approved, and I have to be at work in 3 min. So I continuously sigh aloud as if to let them know I am not happy. I look over at my husband driving the car wondering why he just hit another curb, when I myself ran a red flashing light yesterday. I wonder why a co-worker gets away with all their failed duties. Why? Why? Why?
Why not go 5 under the speed limit to spend that extra 10 min. in the car with your wife who just found out she had cancer.
Why not pay with your pre-approved checks when that's all you have because the bank forgot to mail your new order of checks in the mail, and you have 3 little kids at home hungry for the 7 items that you just bought.
Maybe he did hit another curb, but was distracted by what you were saying to him at the time; Or even your beautiful eyes.
Yeah, your co-worker messed up again, but you have been there 4 years and if they counted all your mistakes you would have been gone along time ago. They showed you grace where's yours?
I think we all get frustrated at times, just think about how God must feel every time we sin and say I am sorry, or fail another test and blame him for letting us go through it.
How about when he was calling us to him and we ignored him time and time again.
What about when we say we have repented and continue to do the same sin over and over then laugh as if God is laughing with us "He is looking down at me thinking
"Oh, that child of mine is a little rascal."
No, I don't believe he is. That's one way for us to try and excuse what we know is wrong, but IT'S still wrong. To repent is to change our hearts, to be sorry for what we have done, ask for forgiveness.
If we have truly changed our hearts we will no longer continue to do the same sins. I am not saying we will be perfect. However I am saying we will not continue the same patterns.
The more we desire God the more we read, pray, and become more in his image which means less sinful nature. It is never okay to sin no matter what kind. We should never joke about us and our sinful nature.
God does not laugh at sin. Who are we to always point out others mistakes instead of looking at our own. He wants us to love each other as ourselves 2nd Commandment is to 'Love your neighbor as yourself. We must pick up our cross and carry them. If we have truly done so. We will continue to change for the image of God a waits.

His name is more then just a word
You can look up all the different names used in reference to God, but what do they mean? Do they contain wisdom? How do I use them? Should I use them?
I believe there is great power in his names, its who he is. I believe we should study his names, get to know him. who is he? What can he do? What can I ask him for? We know our worldly families , and can answer almost any question asked about them. God is no different. We should know him even better. We know how the computer works what button moves what. Lets find out what God likes, What makes him move, what makes our Father happy. I use all these names in prayer whether for healing, peace, wisdom, or discernment,
When you need wisdom it will be there. Stay in the word prepare yourselves.

Jehovah Rophe
Its amazing to me how we can believe he is all powerful GOD, All mighty King,
Creator of all there is, someone who can heal the blind over 2,000 years ago, We call him all his names one being Jehovah Rophe, which means Lord who heals. We call out to him in prayer, that he will save us. We believe he is coming with a great triumph return, trumpets will blow, heads will bow, knees will bend. We go to church every Sunday filling ourselves with the word. Some might say "It was the prophets who were called to heal, It is of the flesh today That being the enemy." I believe that God is always in control 2,000 years ago, today , tomorrow and when he returns. We sing songs that say we are the body,
but yet the prophets were called not us. We believe he can hear us, but he can't talk to us or respond to our prayers whether it be healing or salvation. I believe myself if we truly listen we can hear him. He will always speak to us, his spirit is with us it always has been, we just haven't called upon it. We need to start stretching our arms forth and praying for each other whether for healing or salvation who are we to decide what God, Jehovah, Jesus, Lord, is capable of doing through his body. All spiritual gifts are in 1 Cor. 12
1 Corinthians 1:6-7
because our testimony about Christ was confirmed in you.
7. Therefore you do not lack any spiritual gifts as you eagerly
wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed.

This is the family God has blessed me with. Its amazing how God works. Knowing who to place in our life, I guess as much as we try to figure out who, or why? All we can ever do is just say thank you. In the end He is the planner the writer/Author of our lives. I am not a very good writer myself so, I am happy to hand the reign's over to God. In Matt. 11:29-30 it says his yoke is easy. When I sit back and think of
my life now that I know him personally compared to my life
before, I see his word at work.
Amen, That he is in control and not us!

"Voice Of Thunder"
What's wrong with days like this?
So many people are afraid to say.
Such a loving disguise to tenderize what really should be said.
Don't hold back afraid to be found
For the world must know it's sound.
So many people run for the soft tender voice knowing they won't be found.
Afraid of correction
Thinking it's destruction, they run flee and beg.
See nothing you say can erase the day or make it all go away.
We must pray that some day, we will all be away from the troubles that may stay.
Until that day we must stand ,and rise, and assist the voice of thunder.
